Last Tuesday a contingent of Torquay Rotarians had the rare pleasure of hearing an inspirational presentation from the International President of Rotary, Mark Daniel Maloney and partner Gay at a dinner held just up the road in Ballarat. We were privileged to meet our World RI President at his only Australian function during this visit. An opening presentation from Gay, provided us with an insight into hers and Mark's life and careers before joining Rotary as well as their most recent activities since becoming World RI President. Mark then summarised the 5 Point Vision and Plan which is intended to keep Rotary relevant and attractive into the modern era.
A great night was had by all.
