Arrival of 2 more abandoned children
With mixed emotions we welcomed 2 new young children who were abandoned. You know how you feel when hear of an abandoned animal. You can't imagine a child being abandoned can you? It is just too hard to comprehend. But now we have our 3rd and 4th abandoned children who came into our care on the 13th March, taking our Umoja family to 8 children. The children are approximately 1 and 1.5 years old. We are unable to ascertain their names or where they came from at this stage. It is also unknown if they are brother and sister They arrived very scared and traumatised into our family, where they will be given counselling, 3 meals a day, love, and care. The police are continuing with their enquiries, and thankfully Umoja was there to assist these children. Both are very malnourished. Read the full newsletter HERE
