World Peace Day Concert & Celebration-Pivet2Peace

Fellow Rotarian Helen Peacock invites us to attend the World Peace Day Concert & Celebration held by Pivet2Peace, the local chapter for a World Beyond War https://worldbeyondwar.org/southgeorgianbay/ to be held at the Legion on Sept 21st from 7-10pm. The event is free and no ticketing or sign up required, just be there to support World Peace and have some fun. As Rotarians, lets stand for PEACE!

Pivot2Peace, the South Georgian Bay chapter for World Beyond War (WBW), is a global movement working to advance the idea of not just preventing any particular war but abolishing the entire institution.    Pivot2Peace was officially launched in Collingwood in June and already has 50+ members. They are committed to education and outreach; and are putting on an informative and FUN event, with music and dancing, for International Peace Day, September 21st.  The group is also involved in planning an international conference in Ottawa in 2020. Rotarians are committed to peace. Let’s get informed about Pivot2Peace and help them keep their inspiring momentum going!
