Strategic Planning Committee
Your Strategic Planning Committee has met 4 times and is working hard to establish 1, 2, 3 and 5 year strategic goals for your Lewisville Morning Rotary Club. The committee membership includes; George Gober, George Fowler, Steve Homeyer, Mel Cox, Tom Atchison, Rob diBernardo, Howard O'Niel, Todd Taylor & John Pokorny.
During the last meeting, we identified the barriers that would impede us from achieving the 12 Audacious Goals for the next 3 years. We also identified our clubs Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.
With this information we are beginning to prepare specific strategies that will bridge the barriers over the next 3 years so that we will achieve success.
These strategies will include identifying "champions" for each strategy and step by step time driven action plans that will assure success. As we identify these champions, they will be invited to join our strategic planning efforts. Our next meeting is May 6, 2012 at the Medical Center of Lewisville 2nd floor conference room at 4:00 PM.
Our goal is to have the Strategic Plan ready for presentation to the club by the end of June, just in time for Tom and the new board to be inducted.
Our work will not stop there, Our Strategic Plan will be a dynamic document in which we will have quarterly club assemblies in which board members and champions will review progress toward these goals and time lines and assure club members are fully engaged in achieving these goals.
