I became a Rotary because it makes significant positive impact at local, country and the world all in one tremendous organization.
Growing up in a small in a East Texas town farming community in poverty as defined according to government statistics. Even in our poverty, giving to does who were less fortunate wascnot an option for me and my siblings. As a young marine I had an opportunity to see real poverty in many countries and always stuck with me.
After a bank career and being an entrepreneur, becoming a Rotarian was a natural part of my DNA.. Working on various local boards and non-profits was great and a honor. I became a Rotary because it makes significant positive impact at local, country and the world all in one tremendous organization.
