Members donate 9 cases of #5 & #6 Diapers for Children served by Loreto House
We are Rotary #MakingaDifference #PeopleofAction. Yesterday, our members received word that Loreto House was in dire need of diapers. Today, thanks to the generosity of our members we filled the back of an SUV and delivered the diapers to their facility in Denton. For more info on Loreto House go to www.loretohouse.org
As a project, this was definitely one of smallest ones. But to quote St. Teresa of Calcutta "Not All Of Us Can Do Great Things, But We Can Do Small Things With Great Love"
April is Rotary Maternal and Child Health Month, so not only are we serving the parents of these 2 and 3 year olds, we are creating awareness in the community about one of Rotary's six Areas of Focus.
Loreto House is a pregnancy resource center that serves women, and men, who are dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. They offer free resources such as: pregnancy test, sonogram, diapers, maternity clothes, baby food and items and parenting classes. Know someone in need?
