On Saturday, January 24th Lewisville Morning Rotarians and 11 National Honor Society Students from Hebron High School served at the the CCA Pantry in Lewisville, TX.
Christian Community Action (CCA) has a volunteer run pantry for over 300 needy Lewisville Area residents (Angels). Angels receive vouchers were they can shop at the CCA Pantry once a week for their food and household product needs.
 
Rotarians and HHS Students assist by greeting Angels, validating their vouchers, providing shopping assistance, stocking and providing check-out and wrapping of the groceries so to be taken out to their vehicles.
 
This Saturday we served 67 needy families.
 
Their are several churches and community organizations that volunteer for the pantry Monday through Saturday every week of the year. The Lewisville Morning Rotary Club is scheduled to on the 4th Saturday of every month. For the last few years, we have been assisted by the Hebron High School National Honor Society.
