Congratulations Karishma Cordero, April Student of the Month
honored at our April 25th meeting

Hebron High School Principal, Scot Finch introduced Karishma Cordero to our members at our April 25th meeting. This senior with a 3.87 gpa achieved this lofty grade point average while taking Advance Placement Courses which give her college credit for work achieved while in high school.
Karishma is a member of the HHS National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, National English Honor Society, HHS Cross Country and the HHS Student Council. In addition she gives back as a member Key Club, Hands of Hope, the Ruckus & Rowdy, the Prom Committee and the Asian Culture Club. She also volunteers at A Child's Path at special day care for children with special needs.

After her HHS days are done, she plans to pursue a major in communications and a minor in government at that university whose graduates always wear burnt orange. Ultimately, she hopes to pursue a law degree.

Karishma had a large contingent of friends and family at the meeting to see her receive the honor. Sadly, her mother had passed away this April. Principal Scot had us all in tears as he talked about the wonderful tribute Krishama shared about her mom during the memorial service.

Once again Congratulations Karishma Cordero, our April Lewisville Morning Rotary Student of the Month.
