Blessman Ministries - Rotarians help with Wells

The following story was on Dr. Blessman's blog about their recent trip to South Africa. You can see from one of the pictures that our very own Lee Holmes was one of the Rotarians helping with this great project!
Our second team this year was a group of 10 Rotarians who helped move our water project matching grant forward. Rotary International has been extremely slow in approving this grant that will provide water to 10 rural schools in our area. They are releasing the grant for final approval after many months of waiting. We are almost to the finish line. We continue to work with 10 schools developing the water committees that will manage the water project and bring other benefits, like shoes, vision tests and glasses to their students. We have been busy working on official legal agreements with the department of education to make our partnership with all of the schools work more smoothly in the future.
