President Glen Keppy and Bill Tubbs presented five Community Fine Arts Awards at the Winter Concert at the North Scott High School Auditorium to recognize individuals who have advanced the fine arts. The recipients (front row) were: retired band director Bill Kessinger for Instrumental Music; teacher and community volunteer Joni Kuehl-Schneider for Visual Arts; and longtime piano tuner John Laird for Vocal Music. Two award winners were not present: longtime volunteers and stage professionals Shellee Littell-Frazee and Brad Frazee who had work-related obligations in Chicago, for Drama; and 2015 graduate Nicholas Arp, who is taking finals at Wartburg College, for a Special Award for his creative and technical work in the design of the redesigned North Scott High School entrance.
