Ally Hoffman is an Assistant Vice President in Banking Supervision and Regulation at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She oversees the supervision of capital markets, surveillance of banking conditions, and implementing supervisory policy.

 

Since joining in 2019, Hoffman has served in various leadership roles throughout the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and Federal Reserve System. Most recently, she supported the Federal Reserve's supervision of novel activities. In 2023, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell recognized Hoffman's work with the William Taylor award, the Fed's most prestigious honor for Banking Supervision.

 

Hoffman is a native of East Texas. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, she worked at Ernst & Young where she specialized in financial services and technology consulting. She is also a lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. Hoffman is a graduate of Boston University (B.S.), Northeastern University (M.S.), and Oklahoma State University (Ph.D.).
