Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.

The Day’s theme for 2016 is “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.”

Therefore, in recognition of this day, join the Rotary Clubs of the Bahamas Road to Peace and the Bahamas Scouts Association on a March for Solidarity on September 21, 2016 @ 6 pm. Pre-Walk Service will be held at Salem Union Baptist Church Taylor St and afterwards our March for Solidarity will commence. RCOB Clubs we encourage you to bring your banners, bring your flags as we Walk for Peace!
