April 14th- meeting

Last week's meeting was a vocational tour to CheckMate Fire Prevention Inc. Thank you to Sally and Steve Wanless for showing us their business.  Vocational tours are an important part of Rotary's avenues of service.

Adopt a Road: Thank you to all the volunteers that came out last Saturday to clean  up the road. 

Club Executive meeting: this Tuesday, April 14th at 5pm at Flavours of India. All members are welcomed

Rotary Food Drive: An all club service project, the Spring food drive will take place on Saturday, April 25th. Please let Chris know if you can help. 

PIT Stop dinner:  Sunday April 26th, volunteers needed  for two shifts 12-3:00 to cook and prep and 3:00 to 5:00 to serve and clean up. Sherry is the lead for this project, let her know if you can help. It's a great opportunity to bring family and friends too.

Kamloops Literacy Spelling Bee:  It's time for the adult spelling bee! if you would like to be in the Aurora team, please let Karin know. The spelling bee benefits Kamloops literacy programs and will take place on May 14th  at 7:30 AM

Rotary Golf Tournament: June 12th at Rivershore, Mark your calendars, to play or volunteer at this event!  Nandi is the club rep in this year's organizing committee. If you would like to assist, please let him know.
