When looking critically at the state of the world's climate and the cavalier attitude in which we humans are treating nature, it is easy to become despondent. Our guest speaker Kenneth Dickinson believes that by sharing practical behaviours and actions that have a constructive impact on the environment we, can alleviate this sense of despair and sow seeds of hope for the future.

Kenneth, originally from England, moved to Malmö in 2014 where he teaches at Bladins school, where he runs the school's Eco Committee and sister organisation called the Climate Action Group (UN Sustainable Development Goal 13).

He studied at Westminster College, Oxford (Theology and Education) where he was an active member of the British Trust for Nature Conservation. As a student, he participated in three international work camps (UK, Poland and Turkey) where he shared his environmental experiences with other young people. While at Westminster College he founded an Environmental Society that raised awareness of environmental issues of the day.

If you are concerned about what contributions you can make to a more sustainable future, then come and join us for an interactive evening with Kenneth.

Guests of members and fellow Rotarians are always warmly welcome at Malmö International Rotary meetings. And if you'd like to join us for dinner after the meeting, plan to arrive at the hotel by 17:45 so that we can help you order a discounted meal from the restaurant menu
