Guest speaker Rickard Mosell, currently The Wallenberg Fellow at Nordic Innovation House in Silicon Valley, USA, will share his experiences of building bridges between Nordic Entrepreneurs and Silicon Valley. The Nordic Innovation House is there to help Nordic companies get going by facilitating work life, networking and offer programs that further scale and refine business ideas. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, NIH offers Members office space, meeting rooms and a strongly connected community to support them in hitting the ground running.

Rickard is currently chairman at Ideon Innovation in Lund and on leave from a position at Business Sweden. Southern Sweden is one of the highest ranked innovation ecosystems and this is where Rickard has spent much of his time in the last 20 years. He is co-founded of Xintela AB, (a world-leading biotech company), was simultaneously CEO of Ideon Science Park and Ideon Innovation, and was a key player in building up MINC in Malmö. He has several years of practice in leading “business intersections” between Academia, Startups/Entrepreneurs, BlueShip companies and Investors. In that role had the privilege to meet more than 10.000 Start-ups.

Guests of members and fellow Rotarians are always warmly welcome at Malmö International Rotary meetings. If you'd like to join us for dinner after the meeting, please plan to arrive at the hotel by 17:45 so that we can help you order a discounted meal from the restaurant menu.
