Team Turkey 2019 - Delivering Meals Thanksgiving

Team Turkey 2019 is coming up! 

Here's what we need:

• Drivers to deliver the morning of Thanksgiving 11/28/2019 at 7:15 AM - Deliveries should be done by 10:30 am. 
• Nominated families to receive a meal.  Check with your churches, schools, public service (police, fire, etc) to see if they know of deserving families.  Families can be entered on our website at RotaryTeamTurkey.org or given to Regan Gilshire in person or emailed to BirminghamRotaryClub@gmail.com.
• If you are unable to deliver on the Thanksgiving day, we are collecting donations towards this service project to add gift cards to go with the meal.  If you would like to make a donation, please contact Regan Gilshire at 248-224-7879.

We are delivering 8-person fully cooked Thanksgiving meals on Thanksgiving to deserving families in the community! In coordination with Troy, Birmingham, West Bloomfield, Sterling Heights, Utica, Lakes Area, and Chelsea Rotary Clubs, we have been able to increase the number of families that receive the Thanksgiving dinners from approximately 30 in 2016, to over 250 families in 2018...and for 2019, we plan to deliver 300!!!

We will be taking a group photo promptly at 7:30 am!!! Please arrive no later than 7:15 am if you are driving so that we can get everyone checked in prior to the photo.

Thanksgiving is a time of togetherness with family and to show gratitude for all that we are blessed with. We believe that everyone deserves to spend time around a table with their families on this holiday and shouldn't have to worry about how to make that happen.
