One of the highlights of last Monday's meeting was Rod Simpson's idea that we could link the speaker's topic related to plane flights by having a paper plane making and flying competition.
 
Great fun was had by all with Doug Hawley, a scientist by profession, demonstrating that he also has given much of his free time to paper plane design with a flight that easily traveled around 15 metres to take out the winners trophy.

  • The Camberwell RC is hosting an International Women's Day breakfast event in March and are looking for volunteers to assist with the organisation . If you are able to assist please  contact Tony Laycock.
  • Val again called for volunteers to assist with a FORaMEAL repacking night on Tuesday 16 February at Doug's factory in Dandenong.
  • Rose asked members to collect, where appropriate, toiletries when staying in a hotel or motel to be used in the Pinchapoo program in hospitals. Rose will provide a collection box at Club meetings.
