     St. Johnsbury Rotary's 2019 71st Basketball Tournament!

Our Rotary Basketball Tournament promotes good sportsmanship among the 500-plus students from Northern Vermont and New Hampshire whose teams participate each year.  The two-week tournament is also our Club's biggest annual fundraiser.  The proceeds support sending children to summer camps.

Historically, funds from our Tournament and other funds raised by our club have supported the following St. Johnsbury Rotary Club projects:

• Summer camps for over 50 children
• Literacy and education: Our club distributes 240 dictionaries and atlases to local schoolchildren each year
• Community Service Awards to college-bound students
• Northeast Kingdom Youth Services (NEKYS)
• First Night
• Four area Red Cross Blood Drives collecting 700+ pints of blood annually
• Meals on Wheels
• Shared Heat
• The Santa Fund and many more local projects.

BOYS A CHAMPIONS - The Lyndon Bulldogs won the Boys A Division of the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club's Basketball Tournament on Friday evening, March 15 at St. Johnsbury Academy. Members of the team include: front row from left, Zach Hale, Noah Murray, Gavin Williams and Aiden Davis; back row, Coach Nick Hale, Austin Wheeler, Cam Berry, Jake Sanville, Eli Hooker, RJ Kittredge and Coach Eric Berry.
 
GIRLS A CHAMPIONS - The Glover Eagles won the Girls A Division of the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club's Basketball Tournament on Friday evening, March 15 at St. Johnsbury Academy. Members of the team include: front row from left, Kaitlyn Brown, Dayna Knights, Madeleine Racine, Madison Young and Ila Camara; back row, Alyssa Carrier, Abby Blanchard, Anya Kennedy, Maya Auger, Brooke Breitmeyer, Kelby Knights, Heather Alexander and Coach Dan Cummings.
 
BOYS B CHAMPIONS - The Brighton Bearcats won the Boys B Division of the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club's Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 16 at St. Johnsbury Academy. GIRLS B CHAMPIONS - The Good Shepherd Guardians won the Girls B Division of the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club's Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 16 at St. Johnsbury Academy. Members of the team include: front row from left, Kaylee Weaver, Eihlis Murphy, Ashley Clark and Lily Garey-Wright; back row, Coach Kristen Weaver, Genevieve Hatch, Ciara Zambernardi, Emma Greenan and Amora Page.
 
BOYS C CHAMPIONS - The Colonel Town boys won the Boys C Divison of the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club's Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 16 at St. Johnsbury Academy.
