Felicity Dye will bring us up to date on the Rotary Youth Exchange program and how it has and will continue to adapt to a post-Covid world.

Rotary Youth Exchange sends students (16-17) overseas for a year and welcomes overseas students for the same period of time.

District 5050’s Rotary clubs provide students with life changing experiences by both sponsoring local students who want to live and study overseas, and by hosting international students in our district . The joy and wonder experienced by students as they step out into the world is shared by their parents, their siblings, their host families, fellow students, new friends and by others.  The journey brings challenges and rewards unlike any other; the exhilaration and growth that the students experience is contagious...

Students will learn a new way of living, a great deal about themselves, and usually even a new language. They will also be an ambassador, teaching people they meet about their home country, culture, and ideas. They bring the world closer - and make some good friends in the process.

More than 8,000 young people each year have experiences like these through Rotary Youth Exchange.
