Speak Out, Reach Out: Supporting Mental Health Awareness

With the return of the Essex Rotary Golf Tournament, Miss Vermont returned to help us.  Alexina greeted golfers on the course, offered encouragement, and a chance to help us raise more funds though our 50/50 raffle.  We thank Alexina and the team at the Miss Vermont Scholarship Organization for sharing their time and message with us and for increasing our fund raising capacity. 

Alexina will share her social impact initiative, "Supporting Mental Health Awareness" during her talk, an issue that has become a focus of policy makers in Vermont and across the country.

Alexina Federhen was crowned Miss Vermont 2022 on April 24th at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph Vermont. Alexina was previously Miss Vermont’s Outstanding Teen 2014 and is a resident of Bennington Vermont.

For her talent she sang a rendition of “Turning Tables.”

Her social impact initiative is Speak Out, Reach Out: Supporting Mental Health Awareness.

She is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Design & Environmental Analysis. She is currently enrolled in Boston University’s MFA program for Graphic Design.
