Bio
Debbie Goodwin was an elementary school teacher for 10 years, the last position being at Barre City School as a 6th grade teacher. Since then, she has been home with her young children and just this past spring joined Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity in their endeavor to rebuild the Barre/Montpelier chapter. Similar to teaching, she enjoys working with people to better the social and economic structure of the community.
Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Powered by volunteers, our mission is to build affordable, energy-efficient homes with Partner Families to provide housing for lower income families. Since 1989, we have built over 20 homes in Central Vermont and presently hold 15 mortgages for Central Vermont Habitat homeowners. Current projects include a new build in East Montpelier and a renovation in Orange. Please come join our team of building and support volunteers!
