Time for some jokes
James was at the supermarket and he asked the attendant where to find tinned peaches. She said “I’ll see” and walked away, and James was left waiting. He saw another attendant - “where can I find tinned peaches?” He said “I’ll see” and walked away. Anyway, after a lot of waiting and asking, James eventually found them himself in Isle C

A visitor arrived at the local pub - It had been raining, and outside there was a guy with a fishing rod trying to catch fish in a puddle beside the road. He felt sorry for the man and he asked if he’d like to come inside for a drink. He brought the man a drink, and making conservation asked “So, how many have you caught?” He replies “Oh, you’re the eighth today”

A quote from William Shakespeare “the meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away“

Mark gave the “Three minutes on Rotary” presentation. He played the conference promotional video and a PowerPoint. The theme will be “Do More, Grow More”.
There will be great speakers. There is $33,000 of sponsorship and $15,000 of District seed money

There will be a RIPPR, oops I didn’t write down what exactly are that means, something like Rotary International Past President’s Representative. Mark was very excited. He will be PDG Jayendra Babubhai Kamdar and Marlene Kamdar. OK, I admit I Googled the spelling

Alan was a RIPPR in 1992 at the Townsville Conference
Darryl gave a report on “The Passage“, he has been very successfully mud crabbing. The new bar is getting wider - it’s now 750 m – it’s pretty dangerous and 4.5 m deep in the middle.
Travel is looking a bit more possible - Darryl’s tip for cruising is September – In Oct New Zealand will not require quarantine. The UK is open, Europe is open, and US/Hawaii require masks indoors

Chair Don closed the meeting, – & cheers Ian, we missed your Sergeants Session
