Aged Care Systems & Services

Katie is the Community Services Manager for Sundale Ltd. Sundale is the largest not-for-profit aged care service provider (with no church affiliation). They were established in the 1960’s by Rotary and are Sunshine Coast born and bred, with our head office in Nambour.

In 2015, the Government introduced a range of aged care reforms and these changes continue with new rules being added into the mix every six months or so. Their experience when working with people over 65 years of age is that they are more confused than ever and many do not understand the system, the funding, what’s available in the community and when is the right time to get help.
