District Governor Al Bonney

Rotary District 6290 Governor Al Bonney spoke to at the Cadillac Rotary Club meeting on August 19th. DG Bonney spoke to Rotarians giving them three things to remember that are vital to our Rotary Club. The first item is the importance in keeping the membership engaged in Rotary. The second item was remembering to have an active public relations program to market our club. Most clubs don't adequately advertise all of the great projects they complete in a community,  in their district and in the world. The third topic was to encourage members to contribute to the annual fund of the Rotary Foundation and to utilize the matching grant fund to help fund projects locally, in our district and across the entire world.  

 

While in Cadillac, DG Bonney also attended the Rotary Club Board meeting prior to the regular weekly meeting. He was accompanied on the trip by his wife, Joan. After the Rotary Club meeting DG Bonney and Joan visited the Rotary Performing Arts Pavilion to view one of the club's major projects and to learn about the renovation being planned for the structure.
