Information from the Board meeting held on 21st November -

  1. Sponsors for the ClubRunner website are being sought- $250 per sponsor suggested, a maximum of 4.
  2. Mentors are to be arranged for new members in the New Year, plus a new members evening for partners and mentors is planned.
  3. A training session on ClubRunner will be held at a club meeting in the New Year.
  4. 2 candidates for RYLA and 1 for the National Science and Technology Forum have been confirmed for January
  5. A review of Archives and assessment of their value plus storage options is underway.
  6. As our Social Organiser, Rudy Yap has kindly invited Club members and partners to his house on 30th January to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This will take the place of the President's New Year BBQ. It is a Pot-luck dinner, and we are asked to bring food appropriate to any country celebrating Chinese New Year. Rudy has a special knack for organising social events, so this event is to be noticed. Further details will follow.
  7. As our first Club meeting in 2023 is not until 20th February, all committees are urged to begin the year with a Fireside meeting on 13th February so we can hit the ground running.
  8. Thank you for the warm welcome you gave District Governor Marilyn Stevens on 21st November. She enjoyed meeting you all and having the opportunity to speak to our Club.
  9. The Starlight Project was a big one, and I sincerely thank everyone who put up their hands and helped make it a great success.
