The 2021 New World, (Lunn Ave, East Ridge and Remuera), and St. Johns Rotary Golf Tournament was held last Friday April 9th at the Whitford Park Golf Course. The "sold-out" event, was a resounding success with a record 33 teams participating and vying for the Winners spot. 
The winning team, (pictured here), were from, New World Eastridge, with Soho Wines in second place and our own Chris Herlihy's team a very admirable third.
Thanks to the generosity of New World, St Johns Rotary club members and friends of St. Johns Rotary, many other golfers won an array of prizes.
The final amount raised, which will be shared between Dove Hospice and St. John's Rotary, is not yet known, but it is expected to exceed previous years. The programs sponsored by St, Johns Rotary such as; RYLA, RYDA, RYPEN, and the Science & Technology Forum to name but a few will benefit from the funds raised.Needless to say, the success of the event would be insignificant if it wasn't for the generosity of Lunn Ave, Remuera and Eastridge New World stores and members of St. Johns Rotary. Special thanks are also extended to David Hartstone and Graham Fabian for their significant contributions.
Activity necessary to ensure the event was successful began months ago and one of the last off course activities undertaken was the packing of the very full Goody Bags. Well done team and thanks to all who donated prizes.
