Through Rotary’s service projects, peace fellowships, and scholarships, our members are taking action to address the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, inequality, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources. Rotary initiatives range from the very local through the projects of individual clubs through to strategic global partnerships with long-term focus. It is said we “wage peace” and you are invited to join us in a way that suits what is important to you. There will be posts over the next few days touching on some of Rotary’s peace initiatives.
