As a new year kicks off, it is always good to get the lay of the land. So who are our 2018/2019 Board of Directors and what makes them tick? Take a look and you might just find out something you didn't already know.

President 2018/2019 - Jon Faber and wife Tracey

Jon has been in Rotary (and our Club) coming up three years, joining on September 3, 2015. Rotary has become a bit of a family affair for the Faber's - with Tracey joining a year later, Madison becoming the President of the Wellington Rotaract Club this year and Cassidy going out on Exchange to Argentina in January 2019. Jon and Tracey also enjoy Rotary at District Level, and are on the Rotary Youth Exchange Committee.

Outside of Rotary and his business, Jon enjoys off road motorbiking, fishing (particularly off the West Coast), paddle boarding, jet skiing, wake boarding, snow skiing, hiking, hunting, travelling and spending time with his family.

Something you might not know about Jon: He used the money he had put aside for his first house to buy a brand new boat aptly called “Homeless”.

This year Jon would like the Club to achieve the Goals set by the leadership team for the year including an improvement in Membership, Online presence, Community Focus and International Targets. He is looking to achieve the Presidential Citation.
