Auckland City Mission - Group Volunteering

Come and join us for a day helping our fellow Aucklanders who are most in need of support at the Auckland City Mission.

We received feedback that our club members would like to do more community activities as part of fellowship , so here is a great opportunity to help out for a day at the Auckland City Mission.

We need 15 people for this event - friends and family welcome. There is no cost involved - we just need your time and helping hands. If this event proves to be popular, I am more than happy to arrange subsequent visits on a regular basis.

The volunteers will be involved in a selection of the following activities, based on what is most needed by the City Mission at the time:

- packing food parcels (including restacking and labelling food)

- sorting and organizing food/goods/bric a brac/clothing

- general tidying (cleaning, sweeping, mopping).

You will need to arrange your own transport and/or parking. We can all go for our lunch break together at a lovely cafe nearby.
