From Eric Turner at Epsom Lodge
I would like to send out a special thank you to those who have been able to support the Community and environment Committee and The Salvation Army Epsom Lodge with donations of new or used clothing and foot ware. A special mention needs to be made of the efforts of John Long (and his son Edward Long) who provided a dozen pairs of brand new converse shoes and to Glen Marvin and his sporty friends for their contribution to the project.
It is still early days and we are very keen to receive donations of good quality clothing and foot ware for those in the community we serve who have very little and find the unavailability of clothing a barrier to pursuing holistic health.
Please feel free to bring donations to Rotary day meetings or phone Eric Turner on 027 5042663 to arrange a time to drop them off to Epsom Lodge.
