You will all recall the recent presentation by Sarah Heydon on Riding for the Disabled.

We have received the attached release updating us on what has recently happened with RDA in Auckland.

"We have an announcement to make!
New Name, New Location,
New Beginnings!

Our move to Meadowbank Pony Club has been a resounding success with our first day last Thursday going off without a hitch. As expected, the environment was wonderful and the horses were impeccable. And this translated to our Volunteers and Riders all having a magical and very rewarding day of riding.

Over the winter, our move got us thinking about adopting a new name. We wanted something that would not only recognise the start of a new chapter in our history, but also something to acknowledge that our Riders and Volunteers can (and do!) come from a much wider catchment area than ever before.

So we're proud and excited to announce that we will now be known as...

Auckland Central RDA!

The change from “Auckland Eastern Suburbs RDA” to “Auckland Central RDA" might not seem that big, but for us it signals a fresh start full of new opportunities and the beginning of many years to come in our new home at Meadowbank Pony Club.

Many thanks to everyone who helped us get here. We're pretty excited and we hope you are too!
