Rotary Club of Little Tokyo is proud to be co-hosting with the Consulate General of Japan, one of the exclusive Los Angeles tour of “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan” series. This will be a complimentary Japanese breakfast event!

“Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan” program started in 2014. This is a unique program, where a delegation, led by former Japanese ambassadors along with other notable public figures from Japan, visit various regions throughout the U.S. and share Japan’s appeal and its current situations through grassroots people to people exchanges.

This year the delegation includes, Ambassador Kazuko Shiraishi (former Ambassador of Japan to Lithuania, former Ambassador for Women, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, and former Ambassador in charge of Arctic Affairs), Ms. Mayumi Suzuki (Sr. Staff, Risk Management Division, Fukushima Prefectural Government), Mr. Minami Maeda (Chief of Staff to CEO and Vice President of Japan, Illuminox Project, Rakuten Medical Inc.), and Mr. Takeo Tokunari (Director, International Development Division, Meiwa Co., Ltd. and Youth Ambassador of Japan, UN Environment Asia-Pacific).

These speakers all have a unique and current perspective on Japan, and we look forward to inspiring US-Japan relations through their talk.
