Hebron (Bull Arm) Fabrication Site Tour

As promised, this is your invitation to attend an exclusive tour of the Hebron Bull Arm fabrication site for members of the Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest on the afternoon of September 8 from 1:45 to 3:30 PM.

Contractors at the Bull Arm site are building the Gravity Based Structure and the living quarters and assembling the entire platform for the Hebron Project.  The project is nearing completion so there will be lots to see. I've been told that there is a set of 8-story-high doors that will ultimately open to allow the platform to float out to sea.  I'm really excited about this opportunity and I hope you will join me.

Here's what you need to know:

1.  Tour will commence at 2:00 PM.  We will meet at the Information Centre at 1:45 PM.  

2.  Transportation to and from Bull Arm will be your own responsibility.  However, I will coordinate car pools.  Please let me know if you can drive or need a ride. You should allow 1.5 hours travel time to the Informtion Centre.

3.  Each person must sign Hebron's release, waiver and indemnity form in order to tour facility.  Please scan or fax to me (wendy@briantscammell.ca; 709-754-5314). The form is attached to this e-mail.

4.  No personal protective equipment is required as the tour will take place in personal protective equipment free zones.

5.  Maximum number of participants is 43.  If you want to participate, please sign up ASAP.   If your significant other or child wants to participate, please sign him/her up as well.  Priority will be given to Rotarians but I anticipate having extra capacity for others too.
