Town to Trail project with Liz Samra & Peter Hujik

Liz Samra and Peter Hujik will report the latest on Gordonsville's advancing Town to Trail initiatives. Liz is a member of the Gordonsville Town Council and the Town to Trail working group. Peter is the Piedmont Environmental Council's Field Representative for the Upper Rappahannock Basin.

Preview from Liz: "We have made great strides since Town To Trail  formed as a working group of Piedmont Environmental Council. Our trail studies have been underway to connect the wonderful trails at Montpelier and Grelen with Gordonsville.  Our park initiative in Gordonsville working with the town has made great strides in redefining the footprint of the park from less than an acre to more than four in the heart of town. We are now beginning the design and build phase."
