Cheque Presentation for Waterfowl Park Bridge

As you know, the Rotary Club of Sackville decided to fund the construction of a bridge joining the newly acquired Lund property to the Sackville Waterfowl Park. On Saturday, June 22nd at 1:30 pm, an event has been scheduled for the dedication of the Daniel Lund Park at the site near the end of Squire St (the entrance will be clearly marked) where Mayor John Higham and Kenneth Lund will speak. All club members are invited to attend as our club president will be presenting a cheque to the mayor at this time.

FYI, at 2:30 pm there will be a celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Waterfowl Park at the Visitor Information Centre, 34 Mallard Dr, where there will be remarks by dignitaries, followed by a celebration barbecue, light entertainment, activities for children and an opportunity to look at the new VIC display.
