Being a club built on service, it's been hard giving back to our communities when we are being ordered to stay home because of COVID19.  However, now that the world is beginning to open, I'm ready to get back to doing what I love most, serving those in need.

As Rotarians, we are all philanthropists, whether it's by giving time or by giving money.  I'm sure we're all feeling the same pull - to make a difference, especially now.  When Rise Against Hunger put the word out they needed help packaging 21,000 bags of food, Mike and I jumped at the chance.  Feeling healthy and ready to take on the world, we got out of the house, put on our gloves and masks, and filled 11,000 bags of food with the help of other fellow Passport One members.

Life is much more than sitting in my home waiting for time to pass.  I'm so thankful the world is beginning to open up again and that so many of us are healthy.  While I understand the need to be cautious, and to wear a mask because it's the kind thing to do, I look forward to us all being together again to do what we do best...serve.
