Rotary Reading Pals will be starting Monday, October 16th. Volunteers will meet with their reading pal every other week during the school year. By starting on the 16th we avoid the week of Thanksgiving and other no school days. The school has identified nine kids to participate in the Reading Pals program, see list below:
· Kindergartner from 12:05-12:25 (any day but Monday's would work) (boy)
· Kindergartner from 12:05-12:25. (boy)
· First grader from 11:15-11:45 (lunch and reading) (boy)
· First grader from 11:15-11:45 (lunch and reading) (boy)
· Two first grade brothers from 1:00-1:30 (two boys)
· Third grader from 11:45-12:15 (lunch and reading) (girl)
· Fourth grader from 12:00-12:30 (boy)
· Fourth grader from 12:00-12:30 (girl)

Volunteers do need to complete a background check every three years and Jonny will schedule training for new volunteers.
