ANNOUNCEMENTS     

Sandy McDowell stated that the new Bingo Roster for the Red Barn has been circulated - if unable to attend please speak to your captain to make arrangements; there will be further announcements/requests for assistance with the KSV Bingo

Hilda Finnigan - circulated the Front Desk and Bulletin Roster for July and August and thanked those who volunteered;

Ted Morrison reminded us of the Lobsterfest hosted by Rotary Club of Oshawa, Thursday June 27, at Simcoe St. United Church at 6:30pm, Tickets $60.00;

Ted also noted that the work of Bill Patchett was recognized at the Conference in Hamburg noting his passion for the Rotary Foundation and our Polio Plus Campaign - Clubs and members are encouraged to give a little extra next Rotary Year to honor Bill's wish raise one million $;

Pres. Linda Porritt announced upcoming Rotary events - DG Changeover Sunday July 7 - 2pm -4pm at the Scarborough Golf Club; Rotary Club of Brighton Interclub BBQ - August 19; Oshawa Parkwood annual BBQ - Saturday August 17th at the Biddle Cottage

Winner: Peter Dueck drew the 5 of diamonds -  won two tubes of tooth paste, compliments of Dr. Larry Hurren.

- Kris and Janice good time at Port Hope Lobster Dinner with Ted and Sharron

- Dan had a great Fathers Day with both sons visiting

- Colleen McLaren happy the backyard work begins tomorrow

- Mike McLaren enjoyed surprising Al with Addie joining them at golf

- Devon met the son of the "tail gunner" who had been in the plane his father piloted on June 5, 1944

- Ted related his experience as he travelled from Hamburg to Zurich, lost his portfolio which had plane tickets, and hotel reservation information - thankfully was able to travel on and even more amazing the portfolio was found and will be returned to him!!!  Food in Switzerland was also amazing

- David Andrews thanked Mike McLaren for the golf lesson last week

- Sandy McDowell enjoyed her glass of wine courtesy of Allan Finnigan (payment of a bet made during golf)
