Thank you all for participating and for voting for your favourite Fundraising Ideas for our Rotary Club.

Please find attached the results.

There are 2 front runners (Golf 50-50 Draw) and The Fashion Show and there are 2 should also be considered ( Man Cave Tour and the Serving at Boston Pizza ) that require more review.

Here are the next steps:

I would like each club member to serve on at least two of the committees (and three or four if you wish and come up with the project details, anticipated net profits , volunteer hours required, etc) for each project. There should be a minimum of 4 people on each committee (to spread around the work to set up the project and gather the details).

I have set aside April 4 as the date for the 4 presentations. However, if your committee is ready to roll faster than that date, we can always meet , with all club members, after a regular weekly meeting and get their buy in on your committee's project.

Here are the new Fundraising Committees: and the Champion who could be your chair if your committee so desires:

Golf 50-50 Draw - Mike McLaren

Fashion Show - Janice Coupland

Man Cave Tour - Sue MacKinnon

Serving at Boston Pizza - Ted Morrison

To all club members:

Please sign up  to work on the committees.

Note to the Champions: Please let me know who is on your committees as soon as you can, and we can put their names in the bulletin.

And if you know of other potential fundraisers that you wish to bring forward, set up a committee of at least 4 volunteers , do the research, and bring the project forward at the April 4 meeting.

The “ideal of service” is the key.

It is an attitude that does not change from one version to the next.

It is an attitude and passion we all have, as Rotarians.
