Gnomes Project

The collaboration of our Rotary club with Canberra East on the Gnomes project at Floriade was quite an enjoyable experience reflective of the Rotary spirit.
Crowds of visitors flocked in and families enjoyed themselves by buying and painting their gnome(s). Our club provided quite a few of the volunteers. Pictured above are four of our members - Natalie Vandepeer-Bradley, Rim el Kadi, Gillian McFeat-Lin and John Hawley manning the sales stand on Saturday. Others from the Club helping out were YEP student Blandine Lens, Jeff Bradley, Barbara Griffiths, Colin Holmes and Hugh Dakin.
