Sports commentator with ABC Grandstand since 1988, calling a range of sports including NRL, Super Rugby, Wallabies Tests, Rugby World Cups, Socceroos, Matildas, Opals, Boomers, WNBL, NBL, international netball , one-day international cricket, Big Bash League, World Volleyball League for Fox Sports, Rowing World Cups and National Rowing Championships for Fox Sports.
Commentated at seven Olympic Games, seven Commonwealth Games and the 2000 Sydney Paralympics. Three-time ABC Sports Broadcaster of the Year. Received an OAM in 2014 for services to broadcasting and the community. Named as the ACT Local Hero in 2008 for services to broadcasting and charity in Canberra. Received the Chief Ministers Award for services to broadcasting and the community.
Currently Patron of the Early Morning Centre helping the homeless and disadvantaged in Canberra. Ambassador for Every Chance to Play, which provides funds to families unable to pay for registration fees for junior sport. Ambassador for Daramalan College Rowing Club. Associated with Special Olympics and Youth Care Canberra.
