A great turnout today (April 17) at the 2024 Volunteer Recognition Day held at Rotary Hall and hosted by the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, with five Rotarians and two Friends of Rotary receiving awards for volunteer dedication and commitment to our community of Northern Bruce Peninsula.

On Tuesday, April 16th at 7:00 PM in Rotary Hall, the public is invited to a Zoom presentation on the topic of Melanoma – a skin cancer that is often lethal but, when found early, is easily cured in an outpatient setting without a need for follow-up chemo or radiation. The Zoom presentation is being made by Rotarian Stephen Fine, Founder and President of the Melanoma Education Foundation.
 

Rotary Donates to Bruce Peninsula District School Trip to Europe

Your local Rotary Club has donated $1,000 towards Bruce Peninsula District School’s student trip to Europe which will take place in 2025 to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands!  This photo shows some of the BPDS students participating in the school trip to Europe next year, with the cheque from Rotary, Rotarian Rob Hiscott standing alongside.
