Tour of the Shrine of Remembrance Melbourne

Time:               Tour starts at 10.15 am

Meeting Time:   9.50 am at the entrance to the Visitor Centre (map attached). I will be at the Entrance of the Visitor centre of the Shrine from.9.30 to meet you

Getting there:   the Shrine is located on Birdwood Avenue and St Kilda Road,1.3 k.m from Flinders Street Train Station. You can walk or catch a tram from the city. Take any southbound tram from Federation Square (except route number 1) to the Shrine of Remembrance Stop.

Accessibility:      The visitor Centre and the Education Centre are step free, The Galleries, Crypt and Sanctuary are accessible by lift. The Lift does not extend to the Balcony; wheelchairs are available for loan during your visit (subject to availability).

Parking:                Nearest car parking is on Birdwood Avenue and St Kilda Road (ticketing required), disabled access bays are opposite the Shrine on both side of Birdwood Avenue>

There will be time to wander around the gardens and the Shrine and of course a Coffee Stop across the road at the Entrance to the Botanic Gardens.
