Founded in 1981 and headquartered in San Marcos, Hunter Industries is a family-owned manufacturer of best-in-class solutions for the landscape irrigation, outdoor lighting, dispensing technology, and custom manufacturing sectors. 

Warren S. Gorowitz, director of corporate social responsibility for Hunter Industries, is a 29-year respected landscape and agricultural irrigation industry leader. As a water efficiency and sustainability professional, he sits on numerous industry association boards and is a speaker and expert on issues related to water and sustainability. 

Warren provides global leadership and strategic direction in all areas of sustainability for Hunter Industries, including responsibility for Hunter’s environmental footprint, annual corporate social responsibility report, global employee volunteer and community development programs and Hunter’s Charitable Giving Committee. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California and received an Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He in instructor in the UCLA Extension Sustainability Certificate Program, a Global Futures Scholar at the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory and previously a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University in the School of Sustainability.
