TISD Bluebonnet Extravaganza

TISD participates in the Texas Bluebonnet Award Program.  Any child in grades 3-6 may participate by reading 5 books from a selected list of authors.  There are approximately 20 books to choose from on the list.  These children are then eligible to vote for their favorite book at the end of the program.  This year Hector P. Garcia Elementary (2525 Lavendusky Dr., Temple, 76501) will host a Bluebonnet Extravaganza to celebrate the students accomplishments.  The Extravaganza is on February 23, 2018 8:30am - 1:00pm.  We need 24 volunteers to man 12 stations the students will be able to visit.  Come share your time with some great kids!  We are also inviting ASTRA Club of UMHB to participate so please use the following link to sign up:
