Dear Fellow Rotarians:

Happy Spring!!

As our Rotary International President, Gary Huang states “In Rotary, service and friendship go hand in hand.”  I couldn’t agree with him more.  This month we have the opportunity to experience this.  Saturday, April 25th is our annual Rotarians at Work Day.  We will be working with our Valley Center High School Interact Club on our E-Waste collection efforts in serving our community as well as rolling up our sleeves together to paint the cubbies at the Bronner Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.  During the day we will have numerous opportunities to deepen our friendships with each other while providing needed services to our neighbors and their families!  How fun!

Our Rotarians at Work Day is also a wonderful time to share your passion for Rotary with your family and friends by inviting them to come to help!  Nothing gets people more interested in a great organization like ours then letting them work beside us serving others.  Please keep this in mind for anyone you know who you believe would make a good Rotarian.  We need to keep our club growing and active.

Monday April 13th   the Club will be DARK due to spring break in the school district.  I wish you all a wonderful Easter with your families.

Light Up Rotary,

Denette
