Community members attended the Rotary Club of Valley Center club meeting for a Lunch and Learn program on February 23rd.  The Club presented the film Invisible Threat to the community and provided a lunch as part of the event.  A large crowd took part in this great community event that led to thought proving discussions.

A little about the film, Invisible Threat -- it focuses on understanding the science of vaccination and the misperceptions leading parents to delay or decline life-saving immunizations.  This 40 minute independent documentary, produced by award-winning Carlsbad High School student film-makers, has earned praise from more than 50 organizations, including the CDC, Texas Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and Every Child By Two, calling the documentary "powerful" , "fast-paced" , "well-balanced" and "impeccably produced".

The film was primarily sponsored by several generous Rotarians from Rotary District 5340, as well as the Rotary Clubs of Carlsbad Hi-Noon, La Mesa, Old Mission, Ramona and San Diego.

The Rotary Club of Valley Center was proud to take part in this timely event!
