Brief Synopsis of Presentation:

 

Jimmy Parker of Stockdale Capital Partners, LLC will share their plans to transform the long-suffering Horton Plaza Mall into a downtown innovation center for technology companies and their 4000+ employees. More than an office park, the project includes curated retail and hospitality offerings, welcoming collaborative spaces, to include a completely re-imagined Horton Plaza Park.

In his role at Horton and other Stockdale creative office properties, Jimmy oversees all aspects of property activation and entertainment, including community relations, creative development, promotion and venue enhancement. Jimmy is well suited to this role, with more than 25 years' experience programming and managing large events, block parties, parades, community arts programs, conventions, music festivals, among others. During his decade plus (2004 - 2015) as the head of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, Jimmy established a significant list of achievements in the areas of district branding, public safety, community building events, urban open space development, pedestrian environment enhancements and historic preservation. Jimmy holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Arts and Sciences from San Diego State University and was a starting player of the 1987 National Champion SDSU Rugby team that was inducted in the SDSU Aztecs Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005.
