Southwestern College On the Move

Dr. Melinda Nish became superintendent/president of Southwestern College in January, 2012. In that time, the 55-year-old college has experienced a rebirth. Construction programs are moving full-steam ahead and academic initiatives are currently under way to help push Southwestern College into the top 10 percent of community colleges in California.

The presentation will include information on the college’s academic initiatives, educational partnerships—both locally and internationally—and an update on the Proposition R construction program.
