Amber McDonough works as the Development Manager for the American Lung Association in California, San Diego. In this role Amber focuses on engaging the community in the organizations mission through fundraising events to fight against lung disease and for lung health. Amber has a background in special events and relationship building. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Amber graduated from the University of Idaho, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Communications.

Amber will be speaking about the American Lung Associations LUNG FORCE initiative. LUNG FORCE unites everyone to stand together against lung cancer and for lung health. Only a force of many can take on lung cancer, the #1 cancer killer of men and women in the United States. We work to change people’s minds about what it means to have lung cancer—so that everyone understands their risks. We raise our voices for innovations in research that will lead to earlier detection and more personalized treatments—so that everyone has a fighting chance. We stand together against lung cancer and for lung health. We stand together as one LUNG FORCE—for our breath, for our lives.
